GB7ZE is a DUAL MODE DMR / FM ANALOGUE ALLSTAR CAPABLE REPEATER , operating in St Leonard-on-Sea, Hastings.
DMR = The repeater is connected to the BM network which allows global communications.
( DMR ) Alternates its transmission every 30 milliseconds to create two Time Slots (TS) The two Time Slots allow two transmissions to occur on one frequency , So effectively you are getting to repeaters for the price of one repeater on the same frequency with no interference from the other Time slot.
( ALLSTAR ) is a much newer and up to date way of linking repeaters with better audio quality , More ways to link in to the system and even control the Repeater – Node .
